The Journey
Part 4
Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4
ROMANS
Romans was wrote by Paul, and is the first of many letters which are also called
epistles. Most of the epistles, which make up a large portion of the New Testament,
were penned by Paul. The others were wrote by James and Jude, the brothers of Jesus,
and Peter and John, who were all disciples of Jesus. This first letter is concerned
with the people of Rome who are followers of Jesus. It shows what true life and
faith are all about. The greatest message of the book, is the free gift of immortality
which comes only from truly believing in God through Jesus. The verses deal extensively
about the old ways of a person, described as being of the flesh, and the new transformed
person that is of the spiritual mind.
The Corruption of the World - Man was given up by God to go their own way, because
even though they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God. The beginning verses
outline the specific things of a corrupt world.
Immortality by Faith - Through many examples of faith, it is demonstrated that this
is the only way to obtain the great gift of immortality. God will give this gift
to all people who believe in Him through faith in Jesus, who was sent into the world
to save man.
1 CORINTHIANS
The first letter of Corinthians was wrote by Paul to the congregation of believers
he established in Corinth, Greece. The people were doing many things that they should
not have been doing, if they truly believed in Jesus. Paul writes this letter to
correct the people, and to guide everyone back to the true faith that they first
embraced. The things that were happening then, are also happening in the modern
day churches.
Denominations - There is not supposed to be any divisions of the true Church, which
is simply defined as the body of believers in Jesus. The Church is a spiritual association
and not a building. The believers, which are called saints in the Bible even though
they also sin, can meet together to learn the ways of God in any building, even outside.
The main point is for everyone to be joined together and of the same mind as God
and Jesus.
Immorality - A great amount of the verses in this book deals with the subject of
immorality. Idol worship, which is anything that takes the place of God in peoples
hearts, along with immorality, are two of the main subjects dealt with extensively
throughout the Bible.
The Crowns - When people are resurrected because of their faith in Jesus, He will
have crowns for them. These crowns are rewards for following His commandments. These
can also be taken away, as stated later in the Bible, even though a person has been
given a new immortal body. This shows the righteousness of God, who will reward
people for all their work and the way they lived their lives. People who have faith
in God through Jesus, and honestly try to follow His words will be rewarded.
Head Covering Because of Angels - It is stated that a woman should have a symbol
of authority on her head, which is her long hair, because of the angels. This refers
to angels cohabitating with women in the antediluvian age, due to their beauty and
long hair.
Unity - It is asserted that there are many members of the believers in Jesus. Some
have different roles than others, but the message is, everyone is just as important
and are all needed.
The Resurrection - Many of the details relating to the new immortal body are given
within the ending verses. The body will be the same as the one Jesus has, when everyone
will be made like Him. It is a real physical body that will live for ever.
2 CORINTHIANS
The second letter of Corinthians was wrote by Paul to the same congregation. They
basically did not listen too well to the instructions of the first letter.
The God of This World - To anyone who stops and looks at the world, you can see it
is not normal. Man has been allowed to do what he wants for the present time. Because
of this, the people who do not believe the message of Jesus have been turned over
to another leader which is Satan. He is ruling the present world system from behind
the scenes, but his effect is clearly seen. He is the God of this world, and will
continue until the great return of Jesus.
The Invisible World - It is stated that there is another world which we cannot see.
Quantum physics are actually starting to show proof of this, where particles can
pass through others unaffected. We can only see material things within a certain
frequency range, but things also exist in other frequencies that cannot be perceived
by us. Just as a dog can hear extremely high frequencies that we cannot hear. Paul
said the things we now see are temporary, but the things not seen are eternal. The
eternal world is actually the true reality.
The Third Heaven - A vision of the realm of God is described in this letter. Paul
said he did not know weather this experience was in the body or out of the body,
and that only God knows. Inexpressible words were heard that are not lawful for
a man to speak.
The Thorn in the Flesh - Paul was given what was called a torn in the flesh, which
was some type of affliction in his skin. It was delivered by a messenger of Satan,
which God allowed to happen so Paul would not exalt himself.
GALATIANS
Galatians was wrote by Paul to the congregations he established through out Galatia,
which was the central portion of modern day Turkey. False teachers were trying to
make people go back to practicing the Mosaic Law, and then turn them against Paul.
Only One Gospel - There is only one true Gospel, which comes from Jesus. If anyone,
be it a man of God or even an angel, changes the true gospel they will be punished.
Angels have already interfered in the secular religions of man.
Live by Faith Only - It is stated many times that people are only justified through
faith and not works. If it were the other way, people could then buy their way into
eternity, which would not be fair for the low income people of the world. Just by
believing the message of Jesus, everyone can become immortal and enter His perfect
kingdom that is coming to the earth. This is one of the greatest messages to all
the people of the world, and also the greatest gift that anyone could possibly receive.
Two Covenants - The covenant of the law showed man his wrongs. But the second covenant
of faith, saved man from the sentence of the law through the sacrifice of Jesus.
This was set as an example through the two sons of Abraham.
Walk in the Spirit - By turning your mind to God and walking in the Spirit, you will
be able to fight against the lust of the flesh. A list of the works of the flesh
are presented here, which truly describes our present world.
EPHESIANS
Ephesians was wrote by Paul to the congregation in Ephesus, Greece. It was written
in order to help the new believers in their faith. The first part deals with belief,
while the second part deals with behavior.
Grace by Faith - It is possible for man to have the love and favor of God, by believing
the words of Jesus. Otherwise, people walk according to the ways of this world which
is ruled by Satan, who is described as the prince of the power of the air. This
could explain much of the unexplained aerial phenomena witnessed throughout the world.
Also, manipulation of the media of the modern world, which is delivered through
airwaves, would explain the abundance of negative messages. The modern media is
the greatest source for distributing messages, good and bad, to the world. By following
God, people can overcome the lusts and desires of the flesh which lead to nowhere.
In the ages to come, God will show everyone His exceeding riches of grace.
The Church - Paul was given a revelation about the mystery of the Church , which
was not reveled to anyone in other ages. The mystery was that the Gentiles would
also be heirs and partakers of the promise of God, through the Gospel of Jesus.
The New Man - When a person believes and opens their mind to God, they become a new
creation. Old ways must be put off in order to become a new person that is created
according to God, in true righteousness and holiness. The Spirit of God will renew
a persons mind each day, and also give strength to make this happen. A world were
everybody treated others with kindness and respect, would be a truly great place
to live. The Kingdom of God will be that and much more.
The Armor of God - People do not understand the forces that they are up against in
this world. It is stated in these verses that this struggle is not with man, but
with principalities, powers and rulers of darkness, which are angels that reside
in heaven. Because of this, people are told to spiritually put on the armor of God.
Which is the only way to fight against these very powerful enemies of God, who are
against all human civilization.
PHILIPPIANS
Philippians was wrote by Paul to the congregation Philippi, Greece. The main purpose
of the letter is to use Jesus as the model for their life. Paul also referred to
how he conducted himself in front of people, so that they would know he truly followed
God.
Jesus Humbled Himself - When Jesus walked the earth, even though He was in the form
of God, he made Himself of no reputation and humbled himself, even to the point of
crucifixion. Because of this, He was highly exalted by God. He was given a name
that is above all others, so that every knee in heaven, on the earth and under the
earth, will bow to Him. Notice that the last sentence said “under the earth“. This
implies there are living beings beneath the earth. Every being will eventually confess
that Jesus is the Lord.
The Goal - The main thing in life, is to keep going toward the goal of the upward
call of God, through Jesus. The citizenship of a believer is in the Kingdom of God,
in which the lowly human body will be transformed to the glorious body Jesus now
has.
COLOSSIANS
Colossian was wrote by Paul to the congregation in Colosse, Turkey. The purpose
of the letter was to show that Jesus is the master of all things in heaven, and in
the created world.
The Preeminence of Jesus - Jesus is the image of the invisible God, who is The Father,
and the first born of all creation. This is why Genesis states that man was made
after the image of God, meaning Jesus. Paul says that all things visible and invisible,
were created through Him and for Him, both in heaven and earth. He is before all
things, and because of Him, all things consist. This means that the forces that
hold atoms and molecules together, which in turn are the building blocks of our reality,
is the presence of His force.
The Ranks of Angels - There are different ranks of angels. They are described as
thrones, dominions, principalities and powers. When Jesus returns, He rides on a
cherub, which is also an angel. Much of the unexplained phenomena that is seen in
this world, would fall under a spiritual category because there is never any proof
that it exists. Even when strange things are seen in the skies, even though it seems
like a physical object, it usually morphs into something else and disappears.
The Carnal World - Everyone is supposed to set their mind on things above, and not
on the things of this world. Even though riches and fame might bring joy for a while
in this life, this cannot compare to being immortal and living in a paradise with
God.
The Family - Paul gives much wisdom for a good family life that pleases God. Also,
in the work a person does, they are to do it as best they can, as if working for
God and not men. Because God sees a persons work, and they will be rewarded by Him.
1 THESSALONIANS
The first letter of Thessalonians was wrote by Paul to the congregation in Thessalonica,
Turkey. The message of this book is for people to live as a good example to all,
and to be prepared for the second coming of Jesus.
The Return of Jesus - The day when Jesus returns for the believers known as The Church,
will be one of the most incredible days that there ever has been since the beginning
of time. He will return with a loud sound described as a shout, with the voice of
an archangel. This is not to be confused with the time when the whole world sees
Him physically descend and stand on the Mount of Olives to fight against the armies
of earth. This happens after the wrath of God is finished. The believers are not
destined for wrath, as Jesus said.
The Rapture - All of the believers that have passed away will be raised from the
dead first, followed by the ones that are alive when Jesus returns for them. It
is described as being caught up in the air to meet Him. The Bible states that the
angels will gather all of the people from around the world, and since Jesus rides
on a cherub, which is an angel, possibly people will be transported the same way.
Exactly how this happens is not known, except that it is going to be indescribable.
People will then be taken to the place prepared for them, which is most likely the
New Jerusalem. This is the city that will descend to earth after the millennial
reign of Jesus. There will also be a great feast in Heaven known as the marriage
supper of The Lamb. The Bride is the believers known as The Church.
2 THESSALONIANS
The second letter of Thessalonians was wrote by Paul to the same congregation. They
were being misinformed by someone, that because of their persecution, that they were
living in the last days. The book categorizes the events that happen before the
Day of the Lord truly begins.
The Day of the Lord - The time when the Day of the Lord starts, will not happen until
there is a great falling away from the faith, and the man known as the antichrist
will be revealed. Many times in the Bible angels are often called men. Both are
of the same physical form, except the angels are immortal with super strength and
intelligence. The man that will take over the global government of the world is
actually an angel. He is described as the leader of the angels who were imprisoned
before the flood. He will be given power by Satan to deceive the world, but in the
end, God will be victorious because He is Lord of all.
Idleness - Paul gives good advice about avoiding people who are disorderly. People
who follow the words of Jesus should act different because they represent God. The
people he was describing are people that do not want to work and are busybodies.
This is one of the things that mark the present world, which can partly be attributed
to technology. He also said that those who do not want to work, then should not
eat, which is a message that is still true today.
1 TIMOTHY
The first letter of Timothy was wrote by Paul to a young convert who joined him on
his journeys. This new believer also taught people how they should live in this
new faith.
Timothy - He was set apart as an evangelist because he received a good report by
the other workers in the faith. His father was a Greek and his mother was Jewish,
which gave him deep insight into the scriptures.
One Doctrine and One God - God desires all men to be saved and come to the knowledge
of the truth. There is only one God, and one mediator between God and men, which
is Jesus. He is perfected man, who gave his life so all men could be saved.
The Great Apostasy - In the last days, which is our present time, there will be a
great falling away from the faith at some point due to a strong delusion. Due to
these lies many will lose faith, possibly because things did not go the way they
expected. There are even doctrines that originated from corrupt angels, such as
forbidding to marry and abstaining from food that God created to be received with
thanksgiving. The ones that truly know God will know the truth, which will keep
a person standing strong no matter what.
The Life of Faith - There are many verses here regarding faith and how one should
act in society. These are practical instructions on living a pure life.
2 TIMOTHY
The second letter of Timothy, which was wrote by Paul to Timothy, is about how to
carry on the work of God after he is gone. The emphasis is on the great falling
away from the true faith and social corruptions in the last days.
The Assurance of the Faith - When a person knows the truth, it is to be held onto.
God will keep a person strong, who is truly willing to want to understand and move
forward.
Conditions in the Last Days - The days prior to the return of Jesus are described
as perilous times. These verses give a complete list of how people will act in the
end days. This list truly describes the present times of the modern world.
TITUS
Titus was wrote by Paul to a close associate of his in the faith named Titus. The
letter is centered on false doctrine and on promoting good works.
Titus - He was described as a true son of the common faith. His mission was to set
in order the things that were lacking in Crete, and also to appoint elders in every
city to teach the right ways of the faith.
Qualities of Faith - These verses teach sound doctrine for a moral and happy life.
It shows how men and their families ought to live in the present world , while waiting
for the new kingdom to begin.
PHILEMON
Philemon was wrote by Paul to a helper in the faith named Philemon. The letter is
about a plea for forgiveness of a person who had done wrong, but had a changed life
now.
Philemon - He was a wealthy slaveholder in Colosse, who used his home as a meeting
place for the Church. Common homes were used by the believers those days. It appears
as though he had a slave who ran away, but was converted by Paul into the faith.
The Plea - Paul took it upon himself to write to Philemon about Onesimus, who apparently
was a slave of Philemon, to plead his case as a changed man. He was now a worker
for the Gospel of Jesus. He wanted Philemon to accept Onesimus back, and treat him
as if it was Paul coming to him. Paul even said that if Philemon was wronged or
owed anything, to put it on his account. This is the same way that Jesus takes the
responsibility of all men, in which He pays the price for their sin so they can be
reconciled with God.
HEBREWS
Hebrews was wrote for people who started to drift away from the faith. It is intended
to lift anybody up, who is letting the ways of the world get them down.
The Authority of Jesus - In the days after the prophets, God spoke to the world through
His Son, Jesus. The worlds were made by God through Jesus, in which He is appointed
heir of all things. He is the brightness of the glory of God The Father, and the
express image of His person. This is why He said “When you see Me, you see the Father”,
because He is the physical representation of The Father. The angels are His companions,
but His name is much greater than them.
The Promise - There is a promise of rest that is spoken of, that the people of God
will enter. It is open to people that diligently seek to enter. Everybody is reminded
that the Word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword,
which pierces even to the division of soul and spirit, and is a discerner of thoughts
and intents of the heart. He is symbolically pictured in the Book of Revelations
with this sword coming out of His mouth, because He is the Word of God. No creature
is hidden from Him, and all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom
everyone must give account. But, He is compassionate and sympathizes with our weaknesses,
because he was tempted in the same ways, but yet was without sin.
The New Priest and New Covenant - It was through the sacrifice of Jesus, that He
became our High Priest before God The Father. The priests of the Old Testament were
appointed to offer gifts and sacrifices, so it is that the priest of the New Covenant
also had to offer something, which was His own life, so that everyone could be released
from the wrath of God. For when God sees that a person accepts this precious sacrifice,
He will also accept them.
What Faith Is - There are many examples of faith given within these verses, which
specifically deals with the great men of God. Through these examples, people are
to look to Jesus, who is the author and finisher of the faith.
JAMES
The letter of James was wrote by James, who was a brother of Jesus and also one of
His disciples. It is centered on successful living and about the problems in the
world.
James - He wrote this letter to the twelve tribes of Israel, who were scattered
among all of the nations. The letter teaches practical living and how to truly walk
in the faith.
Trials and the Crown - The various trials in life test a persons faith, which if
handled as a learning experience, will produce patience that will lead to perfecting
a person. One who endures temptation, and then is approved, will receive the crown
of life from God.
The Tongue - The tongue is the littlest part of the body, but can do the most harm
in the world. This is why it necessary to tame it and bring it under subjection,
in order to work toward righteousness.
Meekness and Patience - Works are to be done in good conduct, in the meekness of
wisdom. This demonstrates that a person is wise and has understanding of the ways
of God. This reveals someone who can practice what they preach, which is an example
to others.
1 PETER
The first letter of Peter was wrote by the apostle Peter, who was one of the twelve
disciples chosen by Jesus. It is a book of true encouragement to the followers of
God.
Peter - He wrote to the believers that were scattered among many of the eastern nations.
It is a message of hope, with instructions on things a person should do in life.
The Inheritance - Everyone is reminded of the great gift that is waiting for people
who stay strong in the faith. Even though there are trials in this life, staying
the course will have rewards that are totally indescribable, starting with the awesome
gift of immortality.
The New Birth - When a person believes the ways of God, a change takes place deep
in the mind. This manifests itself by slowly drifting away from the ways of the
world and focusing on things that really matter, which produces a new person.
Submission and Faith - A believer is to be submissive to government, employers or
anyone in authority, and to honor all people. This honors God by not being a trouble
maker and shows that a person truly lives by their faith.
2 PETER
The second letter of Peter was wrote by Peter, to remind people of the teachings
of their faith. This was due to the coming of false teachers that would be amongst
them.
False Prophets and Teachers - There will be many false prophets and teachers in the
end times, who will sway people with their supposed righteousness. Their ways are
outlined in many of the verses in this letter.
The Promise of God - In the last days, people will doubt the coming of God because
it has taken so long. But it is stated that one day is as a thousand years, and
a thousand years as a day for God. This is because God does not live in a time dimension
as we do. To all that truly know God, the signs of the times will be evident. A
believer is to wait patiently, because there are many things that must take place
before Jesus returns to setup the Kingdom of God on earth.
1 JOHN
The first letter of John was wrote by the apostle John, who was one of the twelve
disciples of Jesus. He also wrote the Gospel of John. This letter is centered on
a review of the gospel, along with spiritual and moral issues concerning faith in
God.
Knowing God Through Jesus - It is only through accepting Jesus, that a person can
begin to know God and please Him. This is because Jesus is the mediator between
God and man. Due to His ultimate sacrifice, He became the substitute for the punishment
man deserved for breaking the commandments of God. The only way to know if a person
really knows God, is if that person follows His commandments. Anyone who truly knows
God, then should be of the same mind as Jesus.
Love and Truth - God is love and truth, He has no darkness at all and cannot lie.
Anyone who is a liar has no truth in them. Even if they say they know God, they
cannot, because they are not of the same mind as God.
God Has Never Been Seen - It is stated here that God has never been seen at any time.
But the Son, who is the image and brightness of God, has been seen and was sent
by God to be the Savior of the world.
Obedience and Faith - If a person says they love God, but hates other people, they
are a liar. It is asked how a person can hate people that they can see, but love
God, who they cannot see. The love of God is described as one who follows His commandments,
and that His commandments are not burdensome to them. To love the world, is to not
love God. But whoever is born of God, overcomes the world. The victory that has
overcome the world is faith, which is believing Jesus is the Son of God who was sent
to save the world.
2 JOHN
The second letter of John was wrote for people to keep the commandments of God and
to beware of deceivers that will take people away from the truth of God.
The Walk - In the beginning verses John refers to the church, which is the body of
believers, as the elect lady. The church is also know as the Bride of Christ. Love
is defined as the act of walking in the commandments of God and believers are to
truly walk in it.
Deceivers - There will be many deceivers who deny that Jesus Christ has come in the
flesh. Believers are to stay away from these people, in order to receive a full
reward. Whoever follows Jesus, is then with both The Son and The Father.
3 JOHN
The third letter of John was wrote to show the problem of having a dictator within
a congregation, who has too much power and does not live by the faith that he is
supposed to follow.
The Walk of Truth - The greatest thing a person can do is walk in the truth of God,
and be an example for all people. A persons actions can inspire others to do the
same.
The Bad and Good Testimony - These verses refer to two leaders within the church.
One wants to be the only leader and does not welcome any other leaders of the faith.
But the other one has a good report from all, and from the truth itself, because
he follows it.
JUDE
The letter of Jude was wrote by Jude, who was a brother of Jesus and also one of
His disciples. It is centered on the coming day of judgment, and the fact that people
who have true faith in God and Jesus will be saved.
Jude - He was the brother of Jesus, but did not capitalize on his status. Instead,
he said he was a bondservant of Jesus. Before he became a disciple, he thought Jesus
was out of his mind. As a witness to the life of Jesus, he then became a worker
of the faith.
The Fallen Angels - Before the flood, angels mated with human women, which is where
the hybrid giants came from. Angels have the same form as man, and are often called
men throughout the Bible, except they are immortal. The worst of these angels have
been locked in chains under darkness until the day of judgment. But, there are some
fallen angels that are free to work with Satan, the ruler of this world, to corrupt
it. God lets this happen so many will turn to Him. In the end though, the bad will
be separated from the good.
Apostates - There are certain men who will infiltrated the Church. They are ungodly
men who do not have the Spirit of God, and they are worldly and cause divisions.
They are described as wandering stars, which means they could be angels disguised
as mortal men.
True Believers - The believers are told to build up their holy faith and pray in
the Spirit, which is communicating to God through your mind. A believer is to keep
looking for the return of Jesus, and stay in the love of God till this happens.
REVELATIONS
The Book of Revelations, which means an unveiling, is the final book of the Bible.
It was written by the apostle John while in exile on the island of Patmos. Genesis
set the stage for the story of God and human civilization, and now we have reached
the grand finale in Revelations. The style of writing is both literal and figurative,
with the imagery reflecting the things that people of those times where familiar
with. It is filled with prophecies that will happen in the latter days, which is
our present time. Only God can tell the future.
Jesus Speaks to the Seven Churches - The seven churches were physical congregations
located in Asia. But the message to each one, describes seven types of spiritual
conditions that apply to the body of believers of those days and in the present times.
The Throne Room of Heaven - This is a description of the Throne Room of Heaven which
uses figurative descriptions to represent a larger picture. The seven lamps are
the seven spiritual Churches, which are also the seven Spirits of God. The twenty
four elders who are there, are most likely the saints who were raised from the graves
in the Book of Matthew after the Resurrection. There were creatures that had four
faces, which are known as the Cherubim. Each creature is a symbolic composite description
of the angels that directly assist God. Each had a face of a lion, a calf, a man
and an eagle, along with six wings and eyes all over. It is interesting to note
that the four faces are the same as the four points of the zodiac. There is evidence
to suggest that the zodiac actually was meant as a prophecy in the sky. That is,
until the true meaning had been altered by spirit beings and it was turned into an
object of worship. The eyes all over suggests many beings. Other visions with these
same beings describe wheels, also with eyes all around, which could be related to
the circular paths of the planets.
The Lamb - The sacrifice of an unblemished lamb was symbolic of the when Jesus, the
Son of God, would give His life to save man from the wrath of God. The vision is
of a Lamb that looks as though it had been slain, which is symbolic of His sacrifice,
with seven horns and seven eyes. Horns represent leaders, and the eyes are the seven
spiritual churches. There is only One in all of heaven and earth that is worthy
to open the scroll with seven seals that God holds. Only Jesus can open them, revealing
judgments on the earth.
The Angels of Heaven - There are innumerable angels around the throne of God. They
worship God, along with all of the believers in Jesus. There are beings in heaven,
on the earth, under the earth and in the seas that give praise to God and Jesus,
the Lamb of God.
The Seven Seals - Every time a seal is opened by Jesus, an event in the form of a
judgment takes place on earth. The first four seals are the four horseman, which
describe events caused by the rider of the fist horse. He goes out to conquer as
though he was righteous, which relates to the white. The fifth seal is a call for
patience until the number of people that are martyred, as the ones before them, was
complete. The sixth is the start of cosmic disturbances, with one hundred and forty-four
thousand of all the tribes of Israel sealed, so they cannot be harmed when they become
a witness of the gospel to all people. It is then that a great multitude appear
in heaven, which would be the believers known as the Church, taken from the earth.
The seventh seal is the start of the seven trumpets.
The Seven Trumpets - The seventh seal is the start of the seven trumpets, which are
plagues that are brought on the earth. The first four trumpets release geological
turmoil on the earth and the heavens. The fifth opens the place where the fallen
angels are imprisoned, along with their king who will take control of the world through
the power of Satan. The sixth describes an army of two hundred million that wages
war, and then the two witnesses, who are the sealed of Israel and Judah, will prophesy
to the world. They will be overcome by the angel who controls the world after they
finish their testimony. God will raise them back to life and take them to heaven,
in which the seventh trumpet will sound and will lead into the seven bowel judgments.
The Beasts - There are three beasts that are symbolically represented. The first
beast is the dragon, which is Satan, who will be thrown out of heaven along with
his angels. The second beast is the one who will be the leader of the one world
government, which is the angel that is set free from the abyss, who is Abaddon in
Hebrew, or Apollyon in Greek which means destroyer. Satan will give him his power
and authority. The third beast is described has having two horns of a lamb. He
is a false prophet who speaks like the dragon. He performs great signs and deceives
everyone on earth into worshiping the leader of the one world government. Also, he
produces an image representing this corrupt empire that communicates with people.
He is responsible for making every person on the whole earth receive a mark representing
this system. No one will be able to buy or sell anything without this mark that
symbolizes allegiance to this system. The term “beast“, is also used to describe
this empire, as well as the ones before it.
The Lamb on Mount Zion - Jesus is shown as being on Mount Zion with the one hundred
and forty-four thousand of Israel who have the name of the Father written on their
foreheads, and they symbolically learn a new song which no one else can learn. They
are redeemed from among men as the first fruits to God. They are called virgins,
because they practiced no other religion of the world. They are pictured as being
with Jesus now. From this point, people will have to decide on their own, to follow
Jesus or not.
The Three Angels - There are three angels with messages for the whole world. The
first one says that the hour of the judgment of God has arrived, and for people to
worship the One who made heaven and earth. The second one proclaims the fall of
Babylon, the physical city and social system that exists in our present times. Then
the third angel announces the punishment for every one who worships the beast and
receives the mark of this system.
The Seven Bowls - There are seven angels with bowls that are full of the wrath of
God, which are symbolic of the seven last plagues to be poured on the earth. After
these, the wrath of God is complete. The first bowl causes sores on any with the
mark. The second causes the seas to turn to blood, and every creature in them dies.
The third causes the rivers and springs of the world to also turn to blood. In
the forth bowl, men are scorched by the heat of the sun. The fifth causes darkness
and pain in the kingdom of the beast. When the sixth bowl is poured out, the Euphrates
river is dried up, which will open the way for the Asian armies. There are three
demon spirits that then go out to the whole world to gather the armies of the world
to a place known as Armageddon in Hebrew, which is the valley of Megiddo north of
Israel. When the seventh is poured out, there is a loud voice from the throne room
that proclaims “It is done.” At that moment a great earth quake shakes the whole
earth, along with giant hail, and the cities of the nations fall apart.
The Fall of Babylon - Babylon, which is both a real city and also a description of
the social system in the end times, will be replaced by the Kingdom of God. The
fallen world empires, which are represented by the heads of the beast, are all characterized
by the same system which is symbolically called Babylon, because of the pagan rituals
and corruptness which was practiced in the original ancient kingdom of Babylon. The
physical city of modern Babylon, which is were the headquarters of the beast will
be, will be totally destroyed by the powers of God. The merchants of the earth will
de devastated, because nobody will be able to buy there merchandise any more. This
city is the greatest city on earth and is also the main financial center and shipping
port for the world. It is also home base for the meetings of all the world leaders.
Only one city in the modern world fits that description, New York City, which houses
the United Nations. The descriptions point to this city as home base for the one
world government, which will take place in our times.
The Victory of Jesus - The heavens open and Jesus, who is called Faithful and True,
makes His glorious appearance. In righteousness He judges and makes war. His name
is called The Word of God, and the armies of heaven are with Him. Words cannot describe
this fantastic event. The armies are the believers who are dressed in fine linen,
white and clean, which is symbolic of righteousness and being purified of sin. He
will come back to earth at the same place He left it, which is on the Mount of Olives.
He will rule the nations with a rod of iron, which means strength. The beast and
the armies of the world will gather in the valley of Megiddo to battle against Jesus.
But the beast and the false prophet will be captured and thrown into a place called
the lake of fire, and the armies will be destroyed. Then, the dragon is locked in
the bottomless pit for one thousand years. Jesus and all of the believers, who are
called saints, will then rule the nations for one thousand years. The Kingdom of
God will then rule the world.
The Great White Throne Judgment - All of the people who became believers during the
period of the wrath of God are now resurrected, which is called the first resurrection.
The believers, known as the Church, who knew God and had faith in Jesus before the
Day of the Lord, were taken to heaven as promised by Jesus prior to these cataclysmic
and brutal events. It was them who returned as the armies of the Lord. After the
thousand years is over, Satan will be released for a little while, and there will
still be people who will follow him again. When he gathers armies to surround Jerusalem,
where the saints are, fire will come down from God and devour them. Satan will then
be thrown into the lake of fire, where the beast and the false prophet are, and be
tormented forever. It is then that the second resurrection takes place, known as
The Great White Throne Judgment. Every person that was born from the beginning of
the world will be raised and judged according to their works, which are written in
the Book of Life. These are people that did not know God, or refused to follow His
ways. At this point, death is thrown into the lake of fire, which is called the
second death. Then all who are not found in the Book of Life, are also thrown in.
The New Creation - God will then create a new heaven and a new earth, all of the
elements of the first will dissolve. Then a city, known as the New Jerusalem that
is built by God, will descend on the earth. The size is over one thousand miles
from side to side, and over one thousand miles in height, which appears to be a pyramid.
Everyone who does His commandments may enter the gates and have the right to the
Tree of Life that was in Eden, which symbolically describes Jesus, but now is in
the City of God. Outside the city is were all of the people that were thrown into
the lake of fire now are, and they will live in torment forever being separated from
God. Just by believing God and following his ways, a person will be able to live
a life in Paradise with unbelievable joy forever.
The Time is Near - In the last words of this book, Jesus proclaims that he will come
quickly. His reward is with Him, to give to everyone according to their works. He
is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last. He
also has a warning. If anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy,
God will take away their part from the Book of Life, the holy city and the things
written in this book. He again states that He is coming quickly, which could be
at any time in this generation.
